On March 24, 2024, Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Cummins") celebrated its 30th anniversary at the high-power engine factory located in Liangjiang New Area. The event was attended by representatives from the Chongqing municipal government and Liangjiang New Area government, leaders from both shareholder parties, customer representatives, industry partners, and employee representatives, all of whom witnessed this significant milestone.

In the presence of all guests, the 330,000th engine, symbolizing Chongqing Cummins' three-decade journey of development, officially rolled off the production line. This QSK38 new platform electronically controlled engine, a key product of Chongqing Cummins, was delivered to Longyan Haide Xin Automobile Co., Ltd., a company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of emergency power vehicles. Haide Xin is one of the earliest customers to adopt the batch installation of Chongqing Cummins' QSK38 new platform electronically controlled engines.

The successful delivery of the 330,000th engine serves as a compelling testament to Chongqing Cummins' deep-rooted expertise and remarkable achievements in the high-power engine sector. Since its inception with the production of N and K series mechanical engines, Chongqing Cummins has consistently pushed boundaries, evolving from a single product line to a diversified portfolio of high-performance products. Currently, Chongqing Cummins produces engines ranging from 14 liters to 60 liters, catering to the varied requirements of multiple industries and application scenarios while achieving continuous breakthroughs in global markets.

During the event, Chongqing Cummins unveiled its latest innovation aligned with its zero-carbon strategy-the 19L methanol version engine developed under the Cummins multi-fuel platform. This engine incorporates low-carbon fuel technology to achieve high thermal efficiency. Key components are designed with alcohol resistance and anti-corrosion properties, enhancing overall reliability. Additionally, an innovative cold start solution overcomes technical challenges associated with methanol cold starts, ensuring reliable operation even at temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius.
