About the product |
As an important component in the cooling system of diesel engines, the radiator's heat dissipation ability largely determines the operating temperature of the cooling system. The Cummins diesel engine water radiator is usually a closed DC forced circulation copper tube belt type. The core structure of the radiator is a tube and strip type, with a flat core tube (i.e. cooling water pipe) to reduce air resistance and increase heat dissipation area. The heat dissipation belt is wavy with many small windows arranged in a regular pattern, which increases air turbulence and improves heat dissipation efficiency. The circulating water in the water cooling system of high-speed diesel engines often contains a small amount of air and steam. The main reasons for these sources of air and steam include the existence of "dead zones" in the diesel engine water jacket and certain parts due to structural design limitations, which accumulate some air. During the filling process, there is always some air adsorbed in the coolant and added to the system; When a diesel engine is operating at high load, the cooling water boils in the high-temperature zone, resulting in steam bubbles. When the number of steam bubbles increases and connects into one piece, gas is formed; When the water pump itself is poorly sealed at the water pipe joint, air infiltrates into the interior of the cooling system to form air bubbles. When a diesel engine burns, the combustion pressure is very high. If the cylinder gasket is slightly poorly sealed or the cylinder head bolts are slightly loose, high-pressure gas can easily enter the cooling system from the cylinder and form an air trap. If the cooling liquid level is too low, there will also be a large amount of air in the space of the cooling system. If these gases cannot be discharged, they will cause gas resistance during the circulation of the coolant. Gas resistance is quite harmful to diesel engines: ① When the water pump is working, the gas and coolant circulate together, reducing the flow of water and causing an increase in the internal temperature of the diesel engine. This can lead to overheating of the diesel engine, causing local boiling in the diesel engine water jacket and a sudden increase in local thermal stress. ② The residual air in the coolant can cause uneven local cooling, and the exhaust gas from combustion can dissolve in the coolant and easily form acid, causing rusting and corrosion of parts and shortening their lifespan The infiltrated gas will cause cavitation and accelerate damage to the cylinder liner water pump |
