As a critical component of an automotive engine, the fuel injector is responsible for delivering precise quantities of atomized fuel into the combustion chamber, thereby ensuring the engine operates efficiently.

The fuel injector comprises several essential components, including the fuel supply section, air supply section, control section, electromagnetic assembly, armature assembly, valve assembly, injector body, and nozzle pair.

The fuel supply section serves as the primary mechanism for providing a stable flow of fuel to the injector. While less prominent, the air supply section plays a vital role in facilitating efficient combustion by working in conjunction with the fuel. The control section functions as the central processing unit of the fuel injector, receiving pulse signals from the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and calculating the appropriate fuel injection volume based on varying operating conditions. This ensures accurate fuel delivery.

The electromagnetic assembly acts as the driving force behind the injector's operation. It includes components such as coils, cores, chambers, electrical connectors, and tightening caps. When activated, the electromagnetic force moves the armature plate upward, controlling the opening and closing of the nozzle needle valve and determining whether fuel is injected. The armature assembly consists of the armature core, armature plate, armature guide, buffer gasket, valve ball, and support seat. These components work in tandem under the influence of the electromagnetic assembly to regulate the initiation and cessation of fuel injection.

The valve assembly serves as a precision regulator, composed of a valve seat and ball valve with a clearance of only 3 to 6 microns. This precise fit ensures accurate control over fuel return, optimizing fuel flow. The injector body, which bears pressure, contains high and low-pressure oil channels that provide structural stability while withstanding the impact of high-pressure fuel, ensuring the overall safety and reliability of the injector.

The nozzle assembly, consisting of a needle valve and needle valve body, is crucial for achieving precise fuel injection and atomization. Together, these components deliver atomized fuel into the combustion chamber in exact quantities, ensuring complete combustion and maximizing energy output. The filter screen prevents impurities and contaminants from entering the injector, maintaining fuel purity. The wire socket facilitates communication between the injector and external systems by transmitting electrical signals, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle's overall control system.
