Thirty Years of Innovation
Achieving New Breakthroughs in Localization
In recent years, the domestic market for high-horsepower engines has been booming, and applications such as data centers have put forward higher requirements for the performance and reliability of turbochargers. On the significant milestone of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Cummins Turbo Technologies Wuxi, the company has released the P7 and Q7, the new generation of high-horsepower turbochargers.

The release of this localized high-power turbocharger further enriches the company's product lineup in the high-power sector, enhances its responsiveness in markets such as construction machinery and generator sets, and also reflects the company's strategic direction of deepening its commitment to the Chinese market. In the future, we will continue to strengthen our R&D and manufacturing capabilities, fully leverage global resources and local advantages, and create more value for our customers.
- Nathan Stoner, Vice President of Cummins and Chairman of Cummins China

The new platform's high-power turbochargers have established a product system for engines with displacements ranging from 15L to 60L, which can meet the diverse needs of customers. Additionally, the P7 & Q7 platform products have undergone comprehensive upgrades in terms of efficiency and reliability, enabling them to better meet the demands of harsh operating conditions and assist customers in achieving efficient operations.
- Liu Dongliang, General Manager of Cummins China Engine Components and Software Business

Completely redesigned, efficiency is significantly enhanced
The impeller and turbine components have been newly upgraded, reducing engine fuel consumption. Different flow volute designs improve the engine's transient response, increase the generator set's load rate, and achieve better fuel economy.
Multiple technologies ensure stability and reliability
High-speed dynamic balance technology (HSCT) is adopted, combined with water-cooled core component design, effectively lowering the temperature of the bearing system, enhancing the reliability and service life of the rotor system.
The realization of high-performance products is inseparable from the strong support of intelligent manufacturing. Relying on the intelligent manufacturing base in Wuxi, the company has comprehensively established a full-process "core intelligent manufacturing" system for large-horsepower turbochargers, achieving local procurement of raw materials, local manufacturing of core components, and local product delivery. With the continuous improvement of manufacturing capabilities, the company has introduced intelligent manufacturing and testing equipment, including core dynamic balance equipment, and strengthened end-to-end operation management through digital tools, further enhancing product performance, quality, cost, and delivery.
Standing at the new starting point of its 30th anniversary, Wuxi Cummins Turbo Technologies will continue to fully leverage global resources and local advantages, drive innovation, respond nimbly and ensure reliable quality, and join hands with partners to write a new chapter of sustainable development.
