The end-to-end flexible full life-cycle intelligent factory of Foton Cummins engines is a new intelligent digital factory built in accordance with the standards of Industry 4.0. It was recognized as a Lighthouse Factory in global advanced manufacturing by the World Economic Forum as early as 2021.
Flexible production, a production method that combines hardware and software technologies, enables the realization of the desired control by simply modifying the program. Therefore, it is flexible and easy to adjust to achieve the flexibility and high efficiency of the manufacturing process.
Foton Cummins's flexible full life cycle production line adopts a variety of advanced technologies and manufacturing techniques such as 3D vision, collaborative robots, intelligent cameras, high-precision tightening, press-fitting and leak testing, as well as digital means like AI intelligence and the Internet of Things, to establish a flexible intelligent assembly production line.
