JiChai Energy Storage Equipment Has Once Again Achieved A Zero Breakthrough!

Sep 09, 2025

The system's energy conversion efficiency reaches 82%, exceeding the industry standard by 2 percentage points.

On August 27th, news was received from the new energy technology branch that the company's 125 kilowatt/500 kilowatt-hour all-vanadium liquid flow energy storage system, after completing multiple rounds of charging and discharging tests at the Fourth Oil Production Plant of North China Oilfield, has officially entered the unmanned operation trial run stage. This marks that the company has achieved the first demonstration application "zero breakthrough" in the field of all-vanadium liquid flow energy storage equipment, effectively promoting the green transformation and development of the energy industry.

The installation and commissioning work of this project was initiated in June and was fully capable of meeting the requirements for charging and discharging tests on August 11th.

According to Zhao Yuyue, an engineer in the company's energy storage system design department, since the system transitioned to an unmanned operation mode at 0:00 on August 20th, it has successfully completed 10 preset charging and discharging cycles. It has achieved millisecond-level response to grid instructions, effectively supporting the consumption of photovoltaic power at the well site and the regulation of electricity peaks and troughs. This has led to breakthroughs in both the utilization level of green electricity and economic benefits.

As a key demonstration project for the company's market expansion, the R&D team of this project worked day and night, steadily advancing through the stages of system integration, joint debugging and testing, charge and discharge verification, and safety assessment, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the system. This fully demonstrated the company's professional technical accumulation and engineering implementation capabilities in the field of long-term energy storage.

"We will take this project as an opportunity to accelerate the large-scale and industrial application of all-vanadium liquid flow battery technology, contribute to the implementation of the country's 'dual carbon and new' strategies, and work together with our partners to build a new energy system that is green, safe and efficient," said Zhao Yuyue.
