On September 30, the new 500-passenger high-speed ferry"New Pearl 10" was successfully delivered in Hong Kong, China, this is China Shipping Group's Guangzhou Ship Industry Co. , Ltd. to undertake China's new Hong Kong Ferry Off-island project, the sixth batch of 11 ships delivered, so far, the project to achieve more than half of the ship.
This series of ships is designed and built by Yinghui Southern Shipbuilding (Guangzhou Panyu County) Co. , Ltd. , a subsidiary of Yuanzhou Science and technology under China Shipbuilding Group. The ship is an all-aluminum alloy 500-passenger double-hull conventional power high-speed passenger ferry with a total length of 44.75 meters and a width of 11 meters. This type of ship is energy-saving and environment-friendly. The top deck is equipped with solar cell to protect the lighting and air-conditioning of the ship while berthing.
