1. Use clean soft water

2. When "opening the pot", prevent scalding
After the radiator of the diesel generator accessories is "boiled", do not blindly open the water tank cover to prevent scalding. The correct way is: idling for a while before turning off the generator, and then unscrew the radiator cover after the temperature of the generator set and the pressure of the water tank drop. When unscrewing, cover the lid with a towel or car cloth to prevent hot water and steam from being sprayed on your face and body. Don't look down at the water tank with your head. 3. It is not advisable to release water immediately when the temperature is high

4. Do not start and then add water
In order to facilitate starting in winter, or because the water source is far away, some users often adopt the method of starting first and then adding water, which is harmful. After the diesel generator set is dry started, because there is no cooling water in the body, the engine parts of the unit heat up rapidly, especially the temperature of the cylinder head and the water jacket outside the fuel injector of the diesel engine is particularly high. If cooling water is added at this time, the cylinder head And the water jacket is prone to cracks or deformation due to quenching. When the engine temperature is too high, the engine load should be unloaded first and then idling at low speed, and cooling water should be added when the water temperature is normal.
5. Heating water in winter
In the cold winter, the generator set is difficult to start. If the cold water is filled before starting, it is easy to freeze in the lower water chamber and the water inlet pipe of the water tank during the process of adding water or when the water is not started in time, causing the water to fail to circulate.
