Cummins recently announced that to further drive business growth and organizational capability building, starting from February 1, 2026, Xiang Yongdong, the current General Manager of Cummins Powertrain Division China, will take up the position of Executive Director of Global Supply Chain of Powertrain Division. Yuan Jun, the current General Manager of Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., will succeed Xiang Yongdong as the General Manager of Cummins Powertrain Division China.

During his tenure in charge of Cummins Powertrain Division China, Xiang Yongdong led the business to achieve a compound annual growth rate of nearly 10% in sales, making outstanding contributions to the business development. This transfer is a high recognition of Xiang Yongdong's remarkable contributions to the development of the Powertrain Division and the China region over the years.
In his new role, Xiang Yongdong will lead key supply chain initiatives and work closely with local and global stakeholders to promote the localization of important products. This requires effective collaboration with the strategic direction set by the Powertrain business line leaders and global supply chain leaders to maximize value for Cummins and its customers, including meeting timeframes, cost targets, and adhering to global quality standards.

To ensure the continuous growth of the Powertrain business in China and strengthen local capabilities, Yuan Jun will officially assume the position of General Manager of the Powertrain Division in China on February 1st, reporting directly to Nathan Stoner, Vice President of Cummins Inc. and Chairman of Cummins China.
In his new role, he will be fully responsible for the overall operation, strategic planning, business expansion, team management, customer relationship building, and partner ecosystem development of the Powertrain Division in China.
Yuan Jun previously served as the General Manager of Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. During his tenure, he led the company to achieve remarkable results in revenue generation, production capacity, technological innovation, and team building, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the business.
Yuan Jun has extensive experience in enterprise operation and management, and has a deep understanding of industry trends and market dynamics. Since joining Cummins in 2009, he has held important positions such as plant manager, business development director, supply chain director, and general manager in different fields including supply chain, filtration systems, and emission control systems. He has successfully led multiple major projects, achieving remarkable results in improving operational efficiency, enhancing product competitiveness, and driving profit growth.
The Powertrain Division's business in China has maintained steady growth since its establishment, and its market position has been continuously consolidated. This leadership change is an important measure by Cummins to address the needs of business growth, supply chain resilience, and global regionalization.
