On April 17, the world's first 150000-ton smart fishery breeding factory ship "Guoxin No. 1 2-1" built by Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. for Qingdao Guoxin Group was named and delivered at the company's No. 3 dock.
As the upgraded version of the world's first 100000-ton aquaculture factory ship, "Guoxin No.1 2-1" bears the mission of iterative upgrading of China's deep-sea and offshore aquaculture equipment. The ship has a total length of 244.9 meters and a width of 45 meters. It is equipped with 15 large breeding tanks, with a total capacity of 96000 cubic meters. Through technological upgrades such as expanding aquaculture water bodies, optimizing seawater exchange systems, adjusting power loads, and introducing photovoltaic power generation systems, the level of automation, intelligence, and economy has been greatly improved. At the same time, it has the function of multi factor collaborative aquaculture testing. The delivery of this ship provides a new path to solve the problems of traditional fishery resource decline and nearshore aquaculture environment. Its autonomous navigation and deep water intake system can avoid natural disasters, optimize the aquaculture environment, promote the transformation of marine fisheries towards intelligence and modernization, and inject new momentum into the strategy of building a strong maritime nation and upgrading the fishery industry.

After delivery, this large national vessel carrying the dream of being an "ocean granary" is about to head to the Yellow Sea aquaculture area, embarking on a new journey of " Farming the sea and raising fishery".
