As an important member of Cummins' global layout focusing on engine production in non-road power fields, Guangxi Cummins actively responds to the national call for green development and was successfully selected as a national green factory in 2023. Previously, Guangxi Cummins had already been selected for the list of green factories by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Industry and Information Technology based on its outstanding performance in green manufacturing.

Zero waste of energy
Guangxi Cummins has introduced advanced industrial digital technology to build a digital architecture model of BMS+EMS+IPS, which is used for intelligent monitoring of environmental and energy management, further improving the operational efficiency of equipment and reducing energy consumption.
Zero discharge of wastewater
Production and domestic wastewater are collected uniformly. By adopting the sewage treatment process of pretreatment + biochemical treatment + deep filtration, indicators such as COD and ammonia nitrogen are precisely controlled to meet the discharge standards of the Reclaimed Water Quality Standard (SL 368-2006). The wastewater reuse rate reaches 100%, eliminating water resource waste and environmental pollution from the source. Build a closed-loop system for the recycling and utilization of industrial water.
Distributed solar photovoltaic project
The photovoltaic power generation project fully utilizes solar energy, a clean energy source, and reduces dependence on traditional grid electricity. The total installed capacity of the Guangxi Cummins photovoltaic project is 4.707MW, with a laying area of about 40,000 square meters, including factory roofs and ground areas. The designed annual average power generation is 4.4 million kWh, helping the company reduce carbon emissions by 60% annually;
Circular packaging saves resources
Promote the use of steel recycling racks instead of wooden packaging for engine products, and encourage the adoption of recycling packaging solutions for components. The steel material rack can be reused over 50 times, reducing wood consumption by 90% compared to wooden packaging. Circular packaging achieves component turnover and reuse through standardized design. Two measures have reduced packaging waste by 56% and established a green packaging system.
Advanced engine products
Guangxi Cummins has achieved outstanding market performance in China's non-road four stage, producing B series and L series non-road power products that meet the requirements of China's four regulations, launching a series of hybrid power products, and successfully applying them in the loader market. At the same time, Guangxi Cummins is actively laying out non-road five stages. While meeting stricter emission standards, Cummins will leverage its successful experience accumulated in both road and non-road markets, further combining with the needs of the Chinese local market, applications, and customers to launch a unique competitive product portfolio.
Product ecological design
During the product development stage, an environmental constraint mechanism is implanted to build a dual-track system of "green material selection - circular design": non-toxic and green raw and auxiliary materials are given priority to be used to cut off the release path of harmful substances from the source of the product. By extending the material life cycle, the environmental load of the entire chain is reduced, setting an ecological design benchmark for the power equipment industry.
