Cummins today launched two new diesel generator sets, namely Cummins Power 1.9MW and 2.7MW, in Chongqing. It also announced the microgrid hybrid technology path. By accelerating the localization pace of large-capacity units and technological innovation, it aims to further expand the coverage of domestic models and enrich the generator set product matrix. The DCP 1.9MW generator set is equipped with a QSK60 engine - a 60-liter displacement Cummins Legend power platform. The entire machine is made of high-strength alloy steel. Tens of thousands of units of the same family products have been delivered globally, and its hardcore quality has been tested over time.

The main power consumption is 1.9MW, precisely matching the continuous power supply demand of the data center. 32 units can be connected in parallel within 8 seconds, and the transient response capability is superior to the G3 index, truly achieving "zero-perception" power protection.

The product simultaneously meets the EPA Tier 2 and China's non-road National III emission standards, and has passed the dual certifications of CE and UKCA, ensuring global project compliance without worries. It has been tested to operate stably under extreme conditions such as high altitude, high temperature and high humidity, and has provided continuous and stable power for all scenarios including data centers, factories, communications, commercial and infrastructure projects.

The DCP 2.7MW containerized diesel generator set produced by Cummins Power is a fully integrated power generation system. With over 30 years of experience in data centers, we have made the containerized power system a "standard module. From the container shell to the "smart brain" control, it is integrated as a whole. We have accumulated over 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of large data centers.

The commonly used capacity of the unit is 3400kVA and the standby capacity is 3750kVA. The transient response meets the G3 communication standard, and the emissions simultaneously comply with China's non-road National III and EPA Tier 2 standards. It truly achieves stability upon plugging in and operates smoothly and efficiently 7×24.

Modular containers can be directly transported by six-axle or seven-axle trucks without the need for special transportation permits. Stackable design, high power capacity per unit area, make it can be quickly and flexibly delivered and installed t in batches, saving space, time and effort. Long-term technological layout, winning in the future

The power demand for backup power in data centers is increasing day by day, and there is an urgent need to overcome the problem of power supply fluctuations.

Recently, NVIDIA released a white paper on 800V high-voltage direct current power supply, putting forward higher requirements for energy storage devices of AIDC. It is necessary to configure energy storage devices of different durations to stabilize energy consumption and control the power change rate through rapid real-time power compensation, thereby alleviating significant step changes. How to further address the issue of power supply fluctuations in data centers is also a difficult problem that the industry needs to overcome.
