A new entrant has emerged in the US wheel loader market. Wolf, a China-based manufacturer, will introduce its equipment through its exclusive US distributor, Wolf America. The company's WL200 and WL825T models come standard with quick-attach couplers and are compatible with a wide range of attachments, including buckets, forks, dozer blades, cutters, and augers.
The WL200 is priced at $64,995 and is powered by a 74-horsepower Cummins turbocharged diesel engine. This model has a gross weight of 12,125 pounds and a maximum load capacity of 4,400 pounds. It measures 83 inches in width, 104 inches in length, and features a wheelbase of 101 inches.
The telescopic boom wheel loader, the WL825T, is available for $69,995. It shares the same engine specifications, load capacity, and dimensions as the WL200 but has a slightly higher gross weight of 12,550 pounds.
Both models come standard with rearview cameras, auxiliary hydraulic systems, and air-suspension seats to enhance operator comfort and safety.
As the exclusive importer and distributor of Wolf in the United States, Wolf America offers to reimburse customers' travel expenses for visits to its headquarters in West Bend, Wisconsin, where they can trial Wolf's equipment prior to purchase. The company also provides financing options to facilitate customer acquisitions. Wolf America offers an 18-month parts warranty but does not provide a service warranty. According to Aron Rodman, owner of Wolf America, Wolf's equipment is designed for ease of maintenance, and the company can deliver most replacement parts to customers within one business day. Currently, Rodman has approximately 30 units available in the United States and anticipates selling around 150 wheel loaders in the first year, with sales expected to reach several hundred units in the second year.
Headquartered in China, Wolf distributes a comprehensive range of construction equipment, including wheel loaders, telescopic handlers, excavators, skid steer loaders, mini excavators, and forklifts, across 132 countries and regions. Wolf America currently offers two models of wheel loaders and three models of mini wheel loaders (750, 750T, and 780H) to the US market.
