Cummins and Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. recently announced that Ms. Zeng Yong will be appointed as the General Manager of Guangxi Cummins Industrial Power Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Guangxi Cummins") from September 1, 2024, fully responsible for the development and operation of the joint venture company. Guangxi Cummins is a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins and Liugong Machinery, which tailors exclusive engine products based on the properties and application conditions of engineering machinery equipment.

Zeng Yong has rich and diverse work experience in factory operation, quality management, and other fields. Previously, she served as the Quality Director of Cummins China, leading the team to continuously strengthen the customer-oriented quality culture and capabilities, conducting proactive quality management throughout the entire lifecycle, and achieving excellent results in risk prevention and quality improvement, gaining high recognition from the market and customers.
From 2000 to 2015, Zeng Yong served as the Quality Director, Human Resources Director, Business Planning Director, and Factory Manager at Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. 2000 years ago, she worked for Dongfeng Motor Corporation.
Guangxi Cummins was founded in 2012 and produces non road B-series and L-series engines. With performance advantages such as reliability, fuel efficiency, and intelligence, it has become a flagship product in the excavator, loader, and other application markets, and has helped Liugong successfully overcome multiple key technical challenges, winning the first prize of Guangxi Science and Technology Award. Guangxi Cummins is a high-tech enterprise in Guangxi Autonomous Region, awarded the title of Autonomous Region Enterprise Technology Center, and also selected as a "Strong and Excellent Industrial Enterprise" and "Advanced Enterprise" by Liuzhou City.
